Color is a group of music ministers first formed as the choir at Our Lady of the Rosary Roman Catholic Church, a tiny church, nestled in in the lush countryside of St. John, Barbados. As parishioners with varying musical backgrounds, the group came together in its current form for a faith-affirming two-day concert, ‘In Christ Alone’, which was held in 2012.
Over the years we have grown from a choir into a family – an extended support network, sharing lots of laughter and, through God’s grace, helping each other grow as musicians and grow in our faith. With busy families and lives, time spent in music ministry has become devotion, deepening our own relationship with God through music. Through His Grace, we are then able to pass on in our ministry to our church community, and in projects such as the recording of the album Breathe and A Caribbean Rosary.
